We are seeking a talented Controller to manage all aspects of the company’s Accounting and Finance functions. The Controller will be highly visible and involved in supporting a rapidly growing organization. This position reports to the CEO and is the top finance and accounting position in the company. Primary responsibilities include:
- Complete the month end close and reporting process
- Prepare reconciliations and journal entries
- Establish and implement appropriate accounting processes and internal controls
- Manage invoicing, A/P and A/R processes
- Update/maintain financial models
- Identify and track key financial trends and metrics
- Develop annual budget process and analyze budget vs. actual variances
- Maintain cash flow forecasts and analysis
- Process Payroll
- Coordinate and manage the annual tax return process
- Work cross functionally to develop financial awareness across the organization
- Manage special projects as required
Primary qualifications and competencies include:
- CPA with 3-5 years’ experience
- A combination of public and private industry experience
- A positive, team oriented person to lead the organization and proactively interface with the entire organization
- Proficient technical accounting skills
- SaaS experience preferred
- Excellent financial planning and analysis skills
- Self-motivated and willing to learn new areas and concepts
- Resourceful, forward thinking mindset
- Flexible professional that can embrace change and focus on internal and external customer service
