Inspirato is seeking a Commissions Analyst to join the People Operations team. This is a highly visible, employee facing role for a candidate that is a driven, enthusiastic and very detail oriented. This candidate should have a passion for people, numbers and an analytic mindset. The Commissions Analyst will perform a variety of complex duties in the preparation, processing, and maintenance of incentive compensation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Calculate, adjust, and process commissions for 200+ employees
  • Troubleshoot root cause of a problem if necessary and take corrective actions if needed in order to ensure accurate commission payouts
  • Perform complex calculations and analyses of commission and develop potential process improvements.
  • Maintain intricate Tableau dashboards which contain commission payouts for all individuals receiving incentive compensation.
  • Research and analyze payroll discrepancies and work with employees in resolving payroll related issues.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records in compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Work closely with other business partners and departments such as Finance & Accounting and Business Intelligence to drive on-going process refinement to improve the efficiency and accuracy of commissions calculations and reporting
  • Perform support activities needed for the development, implementation, communication, and administering of commission plans and policies.

Required Skills: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Software Expertise
    • Advanced level experience with Microsoft Excel
    • Basic level experience building dashboards in Tableau
  • Problem Solving – Must be able to solve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully and efficiently; and work well in group problem solving situations.
  • Communication Skills - Must be able to communicate effectively and in a concise manner, both verbally and in writing.
  • Presentation Skills - Ability to translate and present analyses in an easy to understand manner.
  • Adaptability - Adapt to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands; changes approach or method to best fit the situation; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events, appreciates opportunity to adjust and adapt with growing business.
  • Attention to Detail - Very strong attention to detail is required when responsible for compensation for 200+ employees.

Qualifications: Candidate must meet the following qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • 2 to 4 years of experience working successfully in a similar role
