The Finance Analyst distills technical analysis of the current financial climate and trends in financial performance into reports and recommendations for how the business operates. By gathering, analyzing, preparing and summarizing recommendations based on financial analysis, he/she will be critical in advisement of business moves such as acquisitions, operational forecasting and other financial plans. The Day-to-Day

Responsibilities:

  • Develops financial analyses to guide financial planning, deliver financial performance insights to business leaders, and to provide decision support
  • Performs technical financial analysis to understand past financial performance and to help guide go-forward projections
  • Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.
  • Partners with business leaders to strengthen commercial customer & partner relationships with financial insights and analysis
  • Developing professional expertise; applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
  • Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
  • Acts as an individual contributor that can work effectively with peers/team.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in finance or prior work experience in corporate finance or financial planning and analysis
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior work experience and knowledge of the payments industry a plus
