Screen Pilot - the no.1 rated travel and hospitality digital marketing agency in the US - is looking for a talented bookkeeper/office manager to join our expanding firm in downtown Denver, CO. Working directly with clients and staff, you will complete diverse accounting/bookkeeping tasks including accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations and payroll reporting. Your ideas and input on streamlining operations and process improvements will be an essential part of the position. A critical element of the day to day role will be the assistance for the Account Team in managing client budget sheets and processing of contracts and paperwork associated with client service provision.

You will be a highly motivated, highly organized and efficient team player with 5+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience with office management as a secondary responsibility. You will be performing duties for both our clients and our company.  This person will report to the CCO and will be responsible for overseeing all administrative and financial aspects of the company, in addition to supporting Heads of Department as it relates to the financial operations of their departments. We are looking for someone who can not only keep up but thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative work environment.

 

What does it take to be successful in this role?

  • 5+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience with office management responsibilities
  • Deadline & detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to effectively analyze current processes and recommend improvements
  • Strong communication, organizational and client service skills
  • Tech-savvy, with Mac skills, including proficiency in Google Suite (especially Google Sheets), Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks and Xero
  • Prior history of working in a marketing agency environment is a plus, as is an interest and understanding of the digital marketing world
  • A stellar work ethic and even better attention to detail
  • Ability to recommend and developing policies and procedures for account controls and ensure their adherence across all departments in the company
  • Possesses the ability to communicate in a professional manner with internal and external clients and our vendors
  • Hard working, motivated, enthusiastic, and honest; work  effectively in a fast-paced environment

 

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

  • Billing
  • Receivables
  • Banking
  • Bill payment, company budgeting and expense management
  • Bookkeeping using Xero
  • Contract and statement of work management - Proofing, validating, reconciling client budget sheets and sending out of contracts and statements of work for clients
  • Support in maintaining project time and expense reports
  • Assisting senior management with the development and adjustments of Standard Operating Procedures pertaining to internal and external client facing processes
  • Assisting the CCO in other duties to support her role as required
  • Appropriately handle highly confidential information, data and metrics
  • Coordinating with outside vendors such as payroll company, insurance broker, CPA and other service providers as needed
  • Securing supplies/repair services for office equipment, as needed, and ordering office supplies
  • Management of catering for meetings and other company events and keeping snacks/office supplies filled and acting as the liaison for cleaning crews and landlord for building safety and issue resolution
