Engrain is a recognized leader in software-as-a-service (SAAS) mobile, online, and touch-screen software solutions for the real-estate industry. We are looking for a temp Bookkeeper to play a key role in ensuring our financial transactions are made timely and accurately in a fast-paced, high growth company. The position assignment will begin in October and end in February. 

You are:

• A detailed and precise number cruncher with strong organizational skills 

• A financial spreadsheet guru 

• Transparently honest and able to handle confidential data with integrity 

You can expect to:

• Issue customer invoices 

• Enter accounts payable 

• Ensure accounts receivables are collected promptly

• Follow-up with clients on past due balances when necessary

• Process deposits by mail and ACH

• Conduct monthly reconciliations

• Assist with annual tax preparation and quarterly sales tax

• Work closely with the Finance Team to run routine reports and audits, and ensure maintenance of annual and quarterly department budgets

We would like:

• Associate degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred

• 3-5 years bookkeeping experience; to include, collections

• Highly proficient with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)

• Advanced knowledge of electronic spreadsheets

• Familiarity with Project and Customer Relationship Management Systems preferred

• High degree of integrity to handle confidential information and/or assignments

• Strong business acumen and attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills

• Willingness and desire to take initiative

• High degree of comfort and demonstrated proficiency with technology
