About the Role
OrthoFi is building a world-class team that is committed to wowing customers at every opportunity. We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated staff accountant to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be experienced in many facets of financial and operational accounting.

Competitive compensation package depending on experience of base and options.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • General management of the AR and AP process, including constantly looking for efficiencies or internal control deficiencies and developing a plan to correct

  • Support high-transactional A/P processes, including approval follow-up, coding and entry, and payment processing

  • Record and reconcile multiple company credit cards, including approval, coding, entry and payment processing.

  • Managing A/R process for revenue transactions.

  • Oversee the preparation of use tax returns, personal property returns, 1099s, etc.  

  • Managing implementation of software to assist in the accuracy and productivity of recording transactions.

  • Other projects as needed

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Strong accounting knowledge

  • Drive to investigate and address exceptions

  • Ability to work independently and self-manage

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Must be self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented

  • Knowledge accrual-basis accounting work

Qualifications

  • Prefer candidates with a Degree in Accounting or related field

  • 3-5 years of accounting experience, 2+ years of experience in a similar position

  • Quickbooks experience
