As the Accounts Payable Scanning Specialist, you will be tasked with accurately entering scanned invoices from 3rd company within committed time frame, assist with appropriate distribution of accounts payable checks and researching all outstanding check payments and invoices. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and want to work in the heart of Downtown Denver, please apply today!

 

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Data entry and coding of scanned invoices from 3rd party company
  • Assist with the distribution of AP checks
  • Update cheat sheet spreadsheet as needed
  • Assist Supervisor with special projects
  • Handle field office questions
  • Assist with researching outstanding checks for escheatment processing
  • Communicate with field associates on questions regarding invoices and coding
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Essential Skills & Experience: 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • PeopleSoft Financials knowledge
  • 10 key skills
  • Accurate typing / key board ability
  • Ability to carry out specific oral and written instructions.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Execute responsibilities with a sense of urgency and follow-through.
  • Customer service mind-set and a team player mentality. 
  • Positive, proactive work ethic and approach. 
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) with customers, peers, management, contractors and vendors.
  • Demonstrated abilities to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Show tact, discretion, confidentiality and good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential matters and documentation.
