Analyst, Global SOX Compliance
The SOX Compliance Analyst position reports to the Compliance Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day function of internal compliance efforts, including SOX testing, ensuring test results are properly documented and issues are appropriately raised. Assist in executing on various compliance projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify, document, test and remediate potential risk areas and support the maintenance of Sarbanes-Oxley section 404 compliance.
- Assist in providing information and documentation to internal and external audit requests.
- Scheduling and conducting Walk-through meetings with the control owners and documenting the process.
- Assist in implementation of SOX controls.
- Maintain current awareness and documentation of SOX compliance rules and regulations.
- Filing of compliance project documentation, ensuring adherence to internal retention policies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting
- 1-2 years prior substantial audit experience, or specialized subject matter expertise.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, PC skills, team building skills and the ability to work independently.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of prior substantial audit experience or specialized subject matter expertise.
- Professional certification (CPA, CIA, or CISA)
- Background in internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR), SEC standards, PCAOB standards and COSO framework
- Global company experience
- Preferred experience working for/with a Big 4 firm
- Efficient communication skills and ability to work with various levels of employees
- Ability to work in fast-paced team environment under tight deadlines and with multiple priorities
- Experience working with international subsidiaries and related accounting issues
- Knowledge of and experience in accounting, auditing and SOX testing and analytical concepts
- Proven problem resolution, analytical and decision-making skills
- Advanced MS-Office skills, preferred-Knowledge of Oracle e-business suite, preferred-knowledge of AuditBoard
