Accounts Receivable Specialist
As Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be passionate about customer service. This position has a direct impact on our customer relationships as well as supports the accounting, sales and customer service teams. We are looking for someone who is positive, goal oriented, outcome focused and results driven. This is a temporary, part time position and we expect someone to work approximately 20 hours per week to fulfill the requirements of the role.
Core Functions:
- Send renewal email reminders to current customers regarding upcoming due date on invoices at 30 and 60 days out, as well as past due invoices
- Create and send quotes and invoices to our military/gov. customers
- Manage incoming ZenDesk tickets/emails related to billing
- Update customer accounts to reflect current billing status (churned, renewed, etc.)
- Help convert academic accounts to pay via credit card
- Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding past due balances and payment questions
- Carry out billing and reporting activities according to deadlines
- Partner with sales and customer service teams regarding customer billing issues
- Special projects as assigned by management
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 1+ years previous experience in accounts receivable
- Technically savvy with systems in general and comfortable with accounting/billing software; prior experience using NetSuite preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies
- Empathetic approach to troubleshooting and customer service
- Quick learner, willing to take initiative, and has great follow through
- Strong listening skills and analytic abilities
- Passion for applied learning in a fast paced environment
- Strong problem solving skills
- Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude

Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university

Compensation:
Peaksware/TrainHeroic is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The hourly range for this role is $17.39 - $28.98. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
