THE OPPORTUNITY
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist at Xactly Corporation, working with a world class accounting team, you will have the opportunity to work cross functionally across the Sales, Customer Success and Finance organization to ensure our customers are invoiced timely and accurately according to key contract terms. You will lead our pre-collections efforts in order to mitigate downstream collections issues and work closely with our collections team. You will be the expert in key customer invoicing needs and will become the go-to for customer inquiries, fostering relationships with key customer accounts. This role will be cross-functional, working directly with Xactly's Finance, Customer Success, IT, Professional Services and Sales organizations. This role will also be customer facing. Success in the role requires a high level of attention to detail, a team player approach, and the ability to be proactive, think critically and communicate clearly.
THE SKILL SET:
1+ year experience in an Accounts Receivable role
BS/BA preferred
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Workday ERP a plus
Customer driven, collaborative, business-oriented approach
Ability to analyze and approve all customer sales orders, create contracts and billing schedules, invoice accurately and timely, and respond to customer inquiries (full order to cash process)
Strong initiative and excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize requests based on importance and timing
WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU'LL
Get your bearings with Xactly systems and begin to build a strong foundation upon which to grow
Begin reviewing customer orders and contracts for accuracy as well as creating billing schedules for those contracts
Begin to understand standard contractual terms
WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU'LL
Have a strong understanding of the business and order to cash process specifically
Build customer relationships related to AR collections and customer inquiries.
Work with cross-functional teams on formal and informal projects to improve operations processes.
Understand the invoicing requirements for key customers
WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU'LL
Have built strategic relationships with our customers and our Sales and Customer Success teams
Lead the pre-collections process
Make suggestions on process improvements and present findings
Participate in cross-functional projects
Provide daily guidance to our accounting management team on how to improve our processes
WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU'LL
Be an Xpert on all billing related tasks, initiatives, and priorities
You will be the "go to" personal for our critical order to cash process
Continue to foster strong relationships with key customer accounts
Complete annual objectives that directly align to overall strategic initiatives

Pay: $55,000 - $65,000 + 10% semi annual bonus
Final pay determinations, salary ranges and pay increases are established by the employer. The ranges are an estimate based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law. They are based upon a combination of local industry benchmarks, budget, experience, and internal comparisons. Salary ranges allow for growth opportunities as the employee develops new skills, and/or hones current skills.
