Accounts Payable Specialist III
Description
The Accounts Payable Specialist III works with the accounts payable team entering invoices, scanning invoices as necessary, new vendor creation, and creating payment batches. In addition, this position can assist with filing, data clean up, and any additional special projects as necessary.
Principle duties and responsibilities:
- Timely and accurate entry of invoices across multiple operating entities in differing currencies and languages, with assistance from google translate
- Scanning and maintaining records of invoices received
- Collecting W-9 information from vendors
- Maintaining accurate vendor banking information
- Assisting in 1099 preparation and distribution
- Creating payment batches on a weekly basis
- Maintaining Accounts Payable Email inbox
- Assisting with special projects as necessary
Required Skills:
- Proficient in use of 10-key
- Exceptionally skilled at data entry
- Experienced in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, detail oriented and proactive
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in order to meet established deadlines
- Strong ethical and confidentiality standards are essential
- Ability to recognize inconsistencies and/or inefficiencies in processes, and address them constructively
- Enthusiastic team player willing to assist others when necessary
- 3 years minimum experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft NAV
- Experience with multiple currencies and languages
- Experience with global operations with multiple operating entities
