Job Description:
What You'll Be Doing:
- Work closely with multiple departments within Arrow to ensure all expenses for assigned lines of business are accounted for.
- Serve as an additional resource/peer mentor for Level I & II COOP Accounting/Finance Associates.
- Communicate extensively with Marketing team about project creation, managing expenses for projects, closing out projects.
- Develop/maintain Excel workbooks/spreadsheets to assist Marketing, Accounting, and COOP with tracking marketing project funding/expenses & financial reporting.
- Audit expenses and Proof of Performance (POP) if applicable to ensure adherence to the requirements defined by Arrow and the supplier guidelines.
- Update deferred checkbooks monthly for applicable suppliers.
- Communicate with Cash Applications department to process payments/credit memos from suppliers.
- Monitor/maintain AR aging and unbilled report and work with appropriate departments for resolution of past due items.
- Assist the Accounting team with reconciliation of various marketing accounts.
- Resolution of variances with the various marketing accounts on the balance sheet to align with the current marketing tracking tool.
What We Are Looking For:
- Typically requires a 4-year degree and 1-2 years of experience, but will consider a 2-year degree or high school graduate with equivalent related experience.
- Accounting experience with AP, AR, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
- Experience with accounting software.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written skills to explain issues and subsequent resolutions to various levels.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing demands; thrives in dynamic environment.
- Strong team player who excels in a collaborative environment but also able to work independently with little supervision.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities outside the scope of this position as needed.
The Skills That Will Help You Succeed Even More:
- Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems.
- Experience with advanced Excel formulas, spreadsheet/workbook creation.
Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$26.01 - $28.05
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
