Accountant Staff
Job Description:
Our ECS Accounting team is adding a new Staff II accountant to backfill for a recent promotion. If you are a self-starter who enjoys solving complex Accounting problems, this is a role for you!
What You'll Be Doing
- Under limited supervision, while developing professional expertise, evaluates transactions and records to the GL as necessary to ensure the financial and accurate and complete. Supports integral customers, develops relationships with various client groups and maintains/updates current financial information.
- Reconciliations & Analysis – complete standard reconciliations and income statement analysis.
- Evaluate transactions and record to the GL as necessary to ensure the financials are accurate and complete.
- Perform financial analysis of actual results against budget/forecast and have an understanding of the market conditions to ensure financial statements are reported in accordance to GAAP.
- Reporting - Responsible for producing, reviewing, analyzing, and issuing periodic reporting on general subject matter and or business areas.
- May analyze and perform other transactional functions.
- Special Project assignments - Support and or participate on special projects.
What We Are Looking For:
- Typically requires a 4 year Accounting or Finance degree and 2–4 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task.
- Experience reconciling GL accounts.
- Familiarity of accounting principles and GL systems (Oracle/Hyperion preferred).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
- Expert in Excel.

- Experience with Alteryx or other automation tools is highly desired
