Job Summary: We are looking for a Website Manager to join our Denver-based marketing team! As a member of a high-performance team, this role offers the opportunity to get in on the ground floor and help shape the future of an exceptional brand. This role’s primary goal will be to own and optimize the marketing website. As part of the marketing operations team, you’ll drive innovation on hotelengine.com, working with multiple departments and functions to represent a cohesive brand. This is the perfect role to combine your design eye, engineering background, and analytical mind.
Responsibilities:
- Own hotelengine.com and all that touches it, focusing on delivering a thoughtful and cohesive online experience across any device.
- Provide day-to-day administration and configuration support for our external marketing website, handling upgrades, bugs, and other changes to the site.
- Monitor and report on website performance, analytics, and KPIs to inform key decisions and site changes.
- Monitor and improve SEO technical aspects of website to increase page rankings.
- Support the Marketing department's web development needs ranging from simple one-time landing pages to complex and robust interactive tools.
- Work with the design team to translate mockups into beautiful, responsive web pages.
- Maintain and implement integrations with third-party tools, from tracking (Marketo and Google Tag Manager) to testing (optimization tools) to reporting (Google Analytics).
- Manage development agency and contractors as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in computer science, marketing technology, or a related field
- 2+ years experience owning and managing a CMS tool. Wordpress preferred.
- 2+ years experience writing and editing CSS, HTML, and Javascript.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of technical SEO practices such as internal linking, site maps, site speed, etc.
- Experience working as part of a fast-paced marketing team, B2B preferred
- Self-motivated and technically-savvy with a keen ability to prioritize multiple projects, some strategic, some tactical.
- Sense of ownership and desire to get things to the finish-line without letting quality of work suffer.
- Data-driven, problem solver who is relentless in finding answers in complex situations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with obsessive attention to detail.
