Overview:

 

The Web Production Manager will report to Global Digital Marketing and partner with Demand Generation to translate designs into cross-browser, standards-compliant, frontend code within Drupal 8 and Marketo. This position is ultimately responsible for all updates to Alteryx.com and template design and development within Marketo. Alteryx.com responsibilities include: copy and asset updates, assisting with advanced AB variate testing, translation plugin (Lingotek) management, designing and implementing improvements to user experience, producing graphical assets for a wide range of collateral, and video resource management. Marketo responsibilities include: template design and development, and assistance with AB variate testing.

 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing production and maintenance support as needed, including but not limited to: building and maintaining websites using our content management system, developing and optimizing creative assets to add interactivity and functionality, performing site maintenance, applying quality assurance guidelines on assigned projects, and maintaining asset organization.

 

You are a problem solver who is able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. You have your own creative ideas and can communicate them clearly to others, but you’re willing to take direction and work with team members in marketing, product development, and management. Strong interpersonal communication and project management skills are critical.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Design various creative for web + email use from initial concept or marketing supplied creative.
  • Manage and maintain the corporate website (content and graphical elements).
  • Assist with information architecture and wireframe creation for website components and projects.
  • Assist with performing site maintenance.
  • Create/Optimize graphical assets for online usage.
  • Ensure Q/A process is adhered to for all assigned projects.
  • Create production-quality, standards compliant HTML/CSS/JavaScript code.
  • Liaison with the Drupal agency on site enhancements and code changes.
  • Understanding and application of the principles of design, typography and color.
  • Understanding of user experience best practices: Registration/validation methods, navigational structures, site architecture etc.
  • Optimize designs to maximize effectiveness by testing multiple creative approaches.
  • Report on the success of design decisions using creative examples and website analytics.
  • Create and translate design comps and prototypes into production-quality templates, with a focus on long-term adaptability of solution.
  • Knowledge of and willingness to learn relevant areas of Alteryx technology and workflows.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for web technology and driving best in class UX
  • Organize work priorities and set project time line expectations effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 
  • Have confidence and maturity when presenting concepts to a group; must be comfortable interacting with upper management.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Degree in Web Design, Graphic Design or Electronic Media Production.
  • Minimum 3 years of web production and design experience.
  • Knowledge of Drupal 8 content management system and Marketo. 
  • Proven experience with a global website.
  • A strong understanding of designing for site functionality, interaction, site architecture, user interfaces, and intuitive navigation schemes.
  • An in-depth understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript, including the ability to hand-code and troubleshoot.
  • Advanced knowledge of web browser capabilities is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Illustrator is a must
  • Advanced web and design skills, including graphics creation and optimization, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Solid understanding of advertising and SEO.
  • Ability to exercise good creative judgment as it pertains to arranging content on web pages in a manner consistent with layout and direction provided.
  • Must be willing to work as part of a team.
  • Able to receive and follow through on creative input and direction from management team.
