What you will be doing

• Drive a robust software development life cycle process that includes product collaboration, solution architecture, resource allocation, schedule estimation, and feature roll-outs
• Lead a team of engineers across various functional areas
• Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent. Work with recruiting to put together a hiring plan and strategy that supports both growth and diversity
• Ensure delivery of high quality, secure and reliable software systems aligned with the needs of the business across multiple teams
• Partner with product and work cross-functionally with other leaders in the organization to build out and prioritize technical roadmaps
• Work with an entrepreneurial mindset and laser focus on problem-solving, managing deliverables and deployments
• Inspire and motivate teams in a remote working environment
• Lead and deliver on technical strategy and guide teams through technology decisions pragmatically
• Support and enforce the use of standards, procedures, best practices, and methodologies

About you

• A well-respected technology leader with 10+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience

• Able to think strategically and see the big picture
• Experienced in managing and mentoring managers and directors and building out career pathing in an organization
• Able to communicate objectives and goals broadly to engineering teams
• Excellent at balancing the tension between optimal engineering and business necessities
