We are an early-stage startup seeking a seasoned Senior Full Stack Software Engineer who has significant, multidisciplinary, engineering experience with mobile-first applications, data integration, as well as working knowledge of data science. You will be the first full-time software engineer and the primary architect of Cipher Skin's Digital Mirror. You will be responsible for growing, monitoring and leading a team of programmers while working with other senior engineers across disciplines. You will work with the exec staff to ensure the on-time delivery of the relevant product. You will answer to the Head of Engineering to start. This position is full-time and relocation to Denver, Colorado is required. 

What you’ll do: 

• Own software features of the Web/iOS/Android App: build, deploy, iterate. You’re responsible for what you’re building, and you have some creative control over the direction you take 
• Ship code to production frequently, often daily 
• Work at all levels of the stack - infrastructure (AWS Lambda, CloudFormation, VPC, EC2, ECS, ECR, Elastic Load Balancer), database (PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS RDS, AWS Cognito), services (Node, Python, MATLAB), and frontend (Unity, React, Redux, iOS, Android) 
• Architect efficient and reusable systems 
• Work with a multidisciplinary team of engineers (electrical, mechanical, industrial, biomechanical) and business team to refine our Mobile App 

Qualifications should include some of the following: 

• A bachelor’s degree in one of the following is required from a top tier engineering program: Computer Science, Data Science, Symbolic Systems, Robotic Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, STRONG preference for Master’ s degree. 
• Experience and high fluency in firmware and BLE connections 
• Experience and high fluency in quaternion algebra  
• Mastery of Unity, C# and AWS Tools. IOS and Android expertise preferred. 
• Enhanced Linux, Unix and MS-DOS user 
• At least 3 years of experience shipping software product for enterprise level or consumer focused products; if you have done both that is STRONGLY preferred

• An expert bug killer 
• Experience with mobile-first products and services (iOS > Android) 
• Experience recruiting and evaluating junior software engineering talent is a HUGE plus 
• Experience with test automation and unit testing 
• Enjoy designing interfaces almost as much as building them, preferred 
• Demonstrable UI/UX design experience, preferred 
• Work experience in the health, wellness, and fitness space, preferred
