Job Description

We are looking for a talented Test Engineer to help us advance the suite of Conga products. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to use his or her expertise in understanding business problems with technical expertise to uncover flaws with Conga product offering before a customer discovers them. We want to hire unbelievably bright individuals, who are a joy to work with, love to work with others, solve problems, listen well, and lead as appropriate. This position will work out of our Broomfield, CO office. We are not seeking a remote employee.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the relevant business problems and how the products solve those problems

  • Take ownership of approving a release for production

  • Be introspective, always trying to improve yourself and the team around you

  • Participate in a DevOps / Agile development team – full lifecycle and full stack – including design, development, testing, planning, backlog grooming and support

  • Develop functional manual and automated tests to be run in bi-weekly regressions 

  • Maintain test suite as the product updates

  • Report on issues found during test runs

  • Communicate findings to Development clearly and concisely

  • Attention to details of the individual task to ensure a delightful experience to the customer is imperative

  • Participate with Technical Customer Support team to verify issues found in the field

  • Work with the DevOps team to fold in tests into the Release process

  • Identify and implement best practices for coding as well as development processes 

  • Perform as a trusted contributor requiring little to no supervision and demonstrating the ability to meet deadlines, exceed goals, and create benchmarks for success

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience (Required): 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience

  • Solid communication skills and the ability to convey technical solutions to end-user of all abilities

  • Demonstrated professionalism interacting with a variety of audiences both internally and externally

  • Proactive, self-driven and enjoys solving complex problems, not just in the primary area of responsibility but across boundaries.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience (Preferred):

  • Programming experience in Ruby,.NET, C#, JavaScript, Java, or C++ with a demonstrated drive to learn and progress in the technical skill and nuanced art of development

  • Experience with JIRA

  • Demonstrated success executing development work within an Agile environment

  • Salesforce Force.com development experience
