Datava is looking for a Technical Architect to join our team! As a Technical Architect you are responsible for understanding, using and deploying Datava solutions to our customers. A successful candidate will have strong technical/development skills, especially in SQL, who also enjoys customer-facing problem solving. You will interact with customers about their needs, and collaboratively offer and implement solutions for them using Datava's system. Datava is a SaaS company that provides modular ERP solutions, like CRM, LMS, EFM, and other implementations to financial institutions. In this role you are given a lot of intellectual freedom to take on complex and interesting problems and solve them using software development tools provided by Datava. This role enables you to use your imagination and software skills to create solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Working with customers to determine the business requirements
- Complete deliverables in a timely manner
- Create solutions for customer business requirements using Datava development tools
- Use current testing methodologies and tools
- Collaborate with team members to solve problems and share knowledge
- Create designs to solve customer business requirements
- Create custom solutions to requirements using Datava's software and tools
- Identify product improvements and communicate these with developers and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of previous experience in technical customer service and development
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Expert in MySQL and ideally MS Transact-SQL
- Functional in Javascript and PHP
- Familiar with CRM or ERP platforms, ideally in the financial sector
- Able to build rapport with clients
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Experience in technical support and sales
- Good technical and product knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of sales software
