Alteryx is searching for a Software Delivery Manager in the Broomfield, CO office (Remote is an option)

Position Overview

We are looking for three things from our team lead:

• A passion for people leadership and development

• A passion for the software development process. We are heavily focused on Agile and Lean principles and want a leader that is continually striving to adopt and optimize against both. 

• Given this highly technical domain, we need someone with strong technical experience especially on the design and language side. A polyglot with experience leading full stack developers is ideal.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of people leadership experience with a strong desire to lead; servant leader with passion for developing people and high-performance teams

• 5+ years in software development experience, preferably with RESTful API web services and highly-scalable architectures

• Clear, concise written and verbal communication

• Demonstrable experience in designing software solutions preferably leveraging open source and open standards; deep familiarity with modern languages, design principles, and design patterns

• Deep understanding and commitment to modern software engineering principles/processes (Agile, Lean, DevOps) and continuous improvement through measurement

• Strong experience in modern development pipelines and tools (e.g. Git)

• Demonstrable experience driving collaboration across teams

• Strong skills in critical thinking, decision making, problem solving, and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure and knowledge of React, Node.js, and .NET Core

• Familiarity with data analytics

• Knowledge and experience with distributed computing, big data and stream processing systems.

• Familiarity with cloud deployments in AWS, Azure, GCP

• Knowledge and experience with databases or data processing systems.

Compensation

Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Broomfield, CO is $101,700 – 172,900. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus and stock grants.
