Team Lead Principal Software Engineer - Contract Center Xpert
The Principal Software Engineer (SWE V) will design, develop and support existing and next-generation web based SaaS solutions using the latest technologies.Candidate must be well-versed and comfortable working in all aspects of a multi-tiered architecture including database, middle tier, presentation and integration/service layers. This position demands a self-motivated individual, capable of big picture thinking and excelling in a team environment. This is a team lead level position that could transition into a manager of development position.The Principal Software Engineer will implement all phases of development in an Agile/Scrum methodology. This will include design, implementation, unit testing, generating test plans with QA teams, and working hand in hand with GHX Product Managers and GHX Application Support to ensure the product is fully supportable.The ideal candidate will be located near Louisville, CO, and able to join the team at our office 2-3 times per week, however we are willing to hire someone remotely, as all office attendance is strictly voluntary at this time.Principal duties and responsibilities:
- Help build a team and cultivate innovation by driving cross-collaboration and execution of projects across multiple teams
- Lead designs of major software components, systems, and features
- Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables with your technical expertise
- Mentor and train other team members on design techniques, and coding standards
- Lead architecture skills
- As a member of the Agile delivery team, collaborates with the rest of the team and product owner daily
- Coordinates with onshore and offshore development team, perform code and design reviews and participate in standups
Required Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, or related degree (Math, Engineering, Computer Information Systems) required, or a combination of education and related experience
- 4+ years of team lead experience
- 8+ years of professional development experience in .Net & C#
- 6+ years of relational databases
- Experience working on a high performance SCRUM team
- Great communication and collaboration skills
- Strong design skills recommended
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
- Prior development management experience
- Constructively challenges the status quo; develops, proposes, and supports the implementation of innovative and creative solutions. Iterates and improves across multiple business domains.
- Thinks strategically, displays a high degree of emotional maturity, and demonstrates a positive outlook
- Experience with MSBuild, Bamboo, CloudFormation
- Experience creating automated unit tests; RedGate TSQL Tests, FitNesse

Estimated Salary range for this position: $138,000-$157,000The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role.
