Position: Team Lead, Alteryx Server

Overview:
The Alteryx Server Team Lead will lead a team of highly passionate and outspoken software developers responsible for maintaining the Alteryx Server product. Alteryx Server is deployed by many of our Enterprise scale customers and touches a large portion of the Alteryx revenue stream. The Alteryx Server Team Lead will need to be comfortable working in a mature legacy code base, while at the same time delivering new and exciting features to delight our customers. This Team Lead should have a strong full-stack software background, experience developing web-based applications, and passion for working directly with customers.

 Position Details:

• Lead a team of developers through the design and implementation of all facets of a professional-grade desktop application, providing technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship, and guiding team development efforts towards successfully project delivery.
• Ensure the long-term quality of the code your team produces through the continuous development of automated tests by members of your team.
• Communicate frequently with quality assurance, product management, user experience and other development teams to coordinate work efforts.
• Lead team to successfully achieve success in achieving committed deliveries

Required Skills:

• Prior experience in a technical leadership position, including hiring, reviews, promotions, discipline, coaching and facilitation of the career growth of team members.
• Experience developing complex web applications using JavaScript and related technologies.
• Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as React, JQuery, Knockout, Bootstrap, Ember and Angular.
• Demonstrated professional expertise in understanding and implementing object-oriented design patterns.
• Interest in the latest web development innovations such as ES6, web components, and emerging JavaScript frameworks.

Valued Skills:

• Experience with visualization libraries such as D3, three.js and Highcharts.
• Experience developing software using C# and the .NET Framework, or another programming language such as Java, Python or Ruby on Rails.
• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency of GUI development using Windows Forms, WPF, JavaScript, or equivalent GUI development technology.
• Automated testing experiencing using QUnit, NUnit, MSTest, Selenium or other testing frameworks.
• Working knowledge of C++.
• Educational background in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
