JOB SCOPE
This Senior Engineer position requires a strong development background with responsibility developing and maintaining automations for their assigned team, and our current processes and procedures. The candidate must have excellent communications skills, be highly motivated and work well in a collaborative team environment and perform on-call duties as needed.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for automating processes for ticket mitigation.
Analyze existing processes, procedures and practices and develop automated solutions.
Provide timely feedback and code review analysis of any code proposed or updated for our team.
Develop and maintain close working relationships with co-workers, peers, engineering and vendor partners to solve issues that arise.
Support daily operations and be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Must demonstrate strong problem solving skills.
Able to work in an on-call rotation as part of 24x7 support.

BASIC/MINIMUM QUALITFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
Minimum three (3) years' experience as a UI Path developer.
Minimum three (3) years' experience as a Java developer.
Minimum three (3) years' experience sql experience.
Understanding of ticketing systems and practices.

ADDITIONAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Shell scripting experience
Linux OS experience
Understanding of security best practices
Familiarity with provisioning processes/systems.
Motivated self-starter
Strong organization and work ethic

PREFERRED QUALIFICATONS

Programming expertise (Perl, Python, shell)
Virtual machine concepts/best practices.
Understanding on http/https protocols

The pay for this position has a salary range of $76,800.00 to $135,800.00. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.

Bryant Bonds’ team’s roadmap consists of many exciting initiatives. But one in particular excites him most: defining a common set of standards for Charter’s backend API services across its many platforms. “We hope to consolidate our services in order to make them easily consumable by our web, mobile and TV-OS applications,” Bonds said. "Once developers are up to speed on the new architecture, it will allow us to develop new services in a shorter timeframe and get new product features out to customers faster." It’ll also make it easier for developers to learn and be productive on varying code bases.

Keith Neubert always feels pride for his team, but there’s no greater example than the success of the Spectrum News App. His team started the build a few months before the pandemic started.
