The Senior Web Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining a next generation of online documentation, along with supporting infrastructure, applications and underlying architecture. This includes understanding the needs of the various CA constituencies, translating those needs into an integrated web plan that includes content coding, work flow managements, integration with other marketing assets, and development of supporting processes.

We are looking for a Senior Web Designer to join our team of curious, confident individuals who thrive on tackling projects collaboratively in an Agile environment. In this position, you will:

• For the first 18 months, build the next generation of online documentation with the Drupal content management system to provide a tool for marketing, education and support across CA Technologies
• Develop a global, online help site in multiple languages for all products CA sells
• The role will evolve toward other aspects and areas of site housing such as multi-media hosting, videos, etc.
• Hands-on coding to ensure that back-end systems talk and cross-pollinate between marketing, education, and support
• Develop new functions and features for resell to create content on a single site for the education realm
• Build in analytics for tracking purposes

What experience do I need?

• You have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• You have a minimum of 5 years of related professional experience with a combination of hands-on coding and marketing
• You have worked with Drupal
• You have experience with PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor)
• You can elevate your understanding of systems across a large, global organization with multiple products
• You have a customer-centric focus on understanding and translating the needs of the customer to match internal business goals and objectives
• You have a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration with an emphasis on building solid working relationships

• You have strong web programming and project management skills
• You have worked within an environment with regulatory requirements (i.e., education, government)
