What does a Software Tester do at Cyber GRX?

You’ll act like an investigative journalist, continuously informing our product development teams about whether we are actually delivering what we intend to deliver.

What a day in the life looks like:

• You will work closely with Product Owners and other stakeholders to understand their expectations at a deep level. 
• You’ll participate in product design to identify potential gaps early. 
• You will apply a disciplined, session-based approach and explore the product under development to gain a clear understanding of what it actually does.
• You’ll design and perform experiments to answer questions about the product quickly. 
• You will produce regular and ad-hoc reports tailored to stakeholder needs. 
• You’ll define, manage, and execute regression tests to support rapid product releases.

What you bring to the table:

• You have problem-solving skills and take a disciplined and systematic approach. 
• You’ve got communication skills and you can summarize complex issues clearly and explain how they impact particular stakeholders. 
• You have technical skills and you are comfortable operating a variety of desktop and mobile applications. 
• You have empathy. You listen carefully to stakeholder needs and can advocate for them. 
• You’re familiar with software testing concepts. 
• You have experience in a professional product development organization. 
• You are familiar with web technologies (e.g. HTTP, HTML, DNS). 
• You’ve worked with risk management concepts.
