Required Skills:

• Apply software engineering principles to develop tests that emulate real-life customer scenarios helping to drive quality into all aspects of products.

• Partner with Development, Product Management, Customer Success and other teams across the organization to understand how customers are using the products. 

• Ability to think through complex product and system interactions to find gaps, failure modes and edge cases.

• Ability to perform an assessment of risk to determine that the right things are being tested in the right environments.

• Design, create, execute, track and maintain comprehensive test suites.

• Author comprehensive test plans, including test case traceability. 

• Flexible, independent and self-motivated – known for taking initiative.

• Strong skills in critical thinking, decision making, problem solving and a balance of big picture thinking with an attention to the right details.

• Act as a customer advocate, committed to delivering quality throughout the organization. 

Valued Skills:

• Experience with one of the following languages: R, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript

• Proven innovator with a track record of implementing quality improvement plans.

Compensation:

Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Broomfield, CO is $101,700 to $172,900. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus and stock grants.
