Alteryx is searching for a Senior Software Engineer in our Broomfield, CO office (REMOTE is an option).

Overview:

The Platform team is responsible for developing a brand-new enterprise offering using the latest technologies. Ideal candidates will have experience working on multiple tiers of a new server product. This includes development across the board...frontend, backend, and execution layers.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years' experience developing complex applications using JavaScript/ Typescript with Node.js and HTML5.

• Expert knowledge of REST API development standards.

• Relevant experience with backend frameworks such as .NET Core, Spring Boot, Ruby on Rails, or equivalent.

• Relevant experience with frontend UI frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, or equivalent.

• Interest in the latest web development innovations such as ES6, web components, and emerging JavaScript frameworks.

• Experience working with build tools such as Gitlab, and comfort with CI/CD deployments.

• Automated testing experiencing using Jest, React Testing Library, Enzyme, TestCafe.

• Experience using Git or other distributed SCM.

• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Demonstrated professional expertise in understanding and implementing clean code and higher-level software design patterns.

• Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills.

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and guidance.

• Ability to quickly identify and acquire information necessary for solving problems.

Valued Skills:

• Cloud container experience with Docker, Kubernetes, serverless

• Comfort working in a distributed, collaborative, agile environment.

• Passion for data analytics

Compensation:

Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Broomfield, CO is $101,700 - $172,900. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus and stock grants.
