AMP Robotics is hiring a Senior Software Engineer - Platform reporting to the Core Vision Software Manager to focus on building AMP's technologies. As a member of the Core Vision Software Team, this position will support the development of AMP's Software which drives nearly 200 active systems around the world.
The Core Vision team is highly-collaborative and powered by passion for recycling, SW development, and changing the world.
As a Senior SW Engineer - Platform on this team, you will work to:
- Orchestrate cross-functional AMP SW for seamless integration
- Secure access to AMP API without compromising user experience
- Further automate the commissioning and upkeep of AMP devices in the field
- Build additional tooling for CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and edge deployment
- Build reliable systems by participating in: design reviews, code reviews, CI/CD, hardware testing, and new product introductions.
- Help build an effective software team through: shaping best-practices, mentor/mentee relationships with peers, and advocating for positive change.
- Reshape the fundamental economics of recycling by increasing the effectiveness of robotic sorting systems.
- Create the core technology which power's all of AMP's products.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

We are seeking an individual with a strong track record of shipping production software.
Required Experience:
- 4+ years experience delivering containerized SW applications for real-time systems.

Remote Hybrid:
- Full-remote, however regular travel to AMP's Louisville CO Headquarters may be required to interface with hardware necessary for this role.

Salary & Compensation information: $126,287.00 to $157,500 depending on experience.
Benefits information:
- Medical - The company covers up 85% to 100% of the premium for Cigna healthcare plans depending on the selection. Employees pay the difference in premium if they select a more expensive plan. Up to 75% for dependents.
