Position: Senior Software Engineer – Alteryx Analytics ProductsLocation: Broomfield, CO

Overview:The Analytics Products team is focused on empowering citizen data scientists to bring insights to their data in a user-friendly and mathematically rigorous way. The team is responsible for developing advanced analytics capabilities for Alteryx data analytics platform. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated and proactive with a fearless predisposition for learning new skills, languages, and platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver enterprise-grade, commercial software at a predictable cadence.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of next generation analytic functionality.
  • Work in a cross-platform technology stack including C++, C#, Python, R and JavaScript.
  • Research, evaluate and commercialize new technologies.
  • Engage and support both internal and external customers.

 Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of programming experience with C/C++ (preferably including templates, STL, Boost, and C++11/14/17).
  • A hands-on programmer – comfortable with diving into a new codebase, strong in data structures, design patterns and performance analysis.
  • A willingness to work in a pragmatic, agile environment with a collaborative team.

Relevant Skills:

  • Experience with Machine Learning and Data Science.
  • Experience with RDBMS (Oracle, SQLServer, Teradata, etc.).
  • Experience with Big Data Analytics and/or distributed compute systems (Hadoop, Spark, BigQuery, etc.).
  • Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF), JavaScript, HTML and other web development technologies.
  • Polyglot programming in mixed-language environments including C/C++, Python, R and JavaScript.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle and automated testing using GTest, Catch, boost::test, or other testing frameworks.
