We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior QA Engineer to join our team!

We are looking for somebody who's passionate about all aspects of Quality. You will develop an effective testing strategy that combines an appropriate level of automated and manual testing. Your challenge is to understand the technical details of the product, the user features, and the use cases of our customers.   In order to be successful, you will need to understand software from a usability perspective and can translate that into viable deliverables for the end user as well as internal teams. 
 

What you will be doing:

• Review and contribute to acceptance criteria and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

• Participate in backlog grooming and provide QA estimates for testing tasks

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities with the Engineering team

• Identify, record, document, and track bugs to resolution

• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

• Script automated test suites and contribute to the test framework architecture

• Proactively write scalable test automation for use cases and APIs

• Develop tools and processes to improve the quality, efficiency and completeness of tests

• Perform integration testing across the UI, backend, and microservices, in multiple environments

What we would like you to have:

• 5-7 years of software QA test and development experience

• 4-year degree, preferably in CS, Engineering or another technical field

• Experience with one or more of the following: Javascript, Java, Selenium, Python/pytest, Cypress.io

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases

• Strong understanding of Rest APIs and test approaches
