Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, Insights at JumpCloud

JumpCloud is looking for a talented Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the newly formed Insights (i.e., Visualization & Analytics) Engineering Team in our new Denver office. The Insights team’s mission is all about generating and visually presenting insights and analytics for our customers to help them better leverage JumpCloud throughout their organization.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll have the opportunity to learn and work in the entire tech stack of our product from the frontend user experience to the core backend services. You’ll leverage and enhance both our usage analytics to better understand how our current customers find success and embrace our experimentation platform to test out ideas for how customers can find success with our product more quickly. The team has the autonomy to generate and test ideas, and when there’s a winning idea, you’ll “productize” it.
We’re looking for…
- 7+ years of industry programming experience
- Experience with the best data visualization and analytics technologies, like D3.js or GSAP.
- Passion for delivering products end-to-end, from ideation through planning and scoping to implementation and experimental A/B testing.
- Experience in any of the following: NodeJS, Vue.js or software development experience in a variety of languages (JavaScript, Python, C/C++) with a strong desire to learn NodeJS or Vue.js.
- Experience developing large-scale web applications, SaaS applications in the cloud (AWS a plus) or large, distributed systems.
- Independent, dedicated, and able to deliver production ready code with minimal guidance.
- Experience with and strong desire to mentor more junior engineers on the team as a technical leader.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a relevant field of engineering, or a closely related field.
Bonus points:
- You’re picky about CSS, Javascript and microservice APIs.
- You’re familiar with hypothesis testing and have a high level understanding of the basic statistics that underlies the experimentation process.
