NHT is currently seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer who is passionate about creating excellent engineering support frameworks, and who wants to play a key role in building great product. This position reports to the CISO as part of the infrastructure and network team, tasked with supporting the Engineering, Analytics, and QA teams. Your role will include designing, planning, management, deployment, maintenance and support of NextHealth’s CI pipeline and deployment strategies. We have some QA automation and CI in place, but it can be improved, and the teams are excited to have this new person onboard.
Responsibilities:
- Building out templated, isolated development, QA, and production environments (primarily Python, Postgres, Mongo, and Azure Databricks/Spark)
- Improving our CI / CD pipelines
- Deploying IIS web apps and Flask
- Managing the current Ansible and Terraform deployment infrastructure
- Promote security best practices throughout the DevOps lifecycle

Qualifications:
- 5-8 years’ experience as DevOps Engineer, or very similar responsibilities
- Experience with deploying docker for development, QA & production
- Must be a good teammate – difficult ‘geniuses’ need not apply
- Strong understanding of security best practices
- Experience with Ansible + Terraform, with ability to design & build out from scratch
- Strong knowledge of Linux system administration (networking, security, databases)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or other cloud computing platforms
Desired:
- Previous healthcare experience, understanding of HIPAA and HITRUST security requirements
- Specific experience supporting Python-heavy products
- Experience with Kubernetes & Helm, including managed Kubernetes in Azure/AWS/GCP
- Experience with Airflow, Postgres, and Mongo
Other Details:
- This role is a full-time, exempt position
- Starting salary range is $130,000 - $175,000
