We are looking for a highly motivated & proven individual to join the Information Delivery Solutions team as a senior level analytics developer and data engineer. The individual should be passionate about developing solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Work with peers, leadership and stakeholders to move our data warehouse from our data center to an AWS based set of operational data stores, reporting databases and a data lake
• Adding business value by moving from daily and monthly reporting to near real time analytics
• Analyze, Interpret, and manage data from various source systems (CRM, ERP, clickstream, logs, and events)
• Develop resilient, high quality data pipelines in technology such as AWS Glue, EMR and Spark to process large datasets
• Support the management and porting of existing data pipelines from legacy systems to new AWS platform
• Profile and model data to support solid data storage and retrieval, as well as advanced analytical efforts
• Provide technical leadership and insight
• Support production systems and on-call rotation
• Work on a fast-paced agile team

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years’ experience creating data pipelines including ETL/ELT, streaming, and SQL tuning
• Attention to detail on data accuracy and resiliency
• 2+ years’ experience with Big Data/Analytics technology such as Hadoop, MapReduce, and Spark
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services
• Development within relational databases such as Postgres or Oracle
• Experience with Java and Python
• Past usage of data integration tools such as SAP Data Services, SSIS, Informatica, or Talend
• Ability to translate business requirements to design, development, test, execution, and low-level support
• Experience in understanding the source data from various platforms and mapping them into data models for integration and analytical needs
• BA or BS degree Computer Science or related field
• US Citizen
• Ability to acquire and maintain a US Gov security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with AWS or other cloud provider
• Cloud technologies to create resilient, scalable, and supportable systems
• Background in operational data stores, data warehouses, and data lakes
• Previously used reporting and data visualization technologies such as Tableau and Business Objects
• Knowledge of GIS and working with geospatial data
• History of working with data from CRM and ERP system such as SAP and Salesforce
• Active US Gov Security Clearance
