As a Solutions Engineer for Cloud Elements you will focus on solutioning/building integrations for customers (think Professional Services), building tools for internal and external use, and helping innovate with Customer Success built products and contributing to our growing developer community. This is a technical role mainly, but you will also interact with customers and partners.

What you will be doing:

  • Design and implement solutions to address customer problems (read integrations) using Cloud Elements. E.g. build Formulas, Elements, and Virtual Data Resources

  • Build development tools and utilities to assist customers with their integrations

  • Quickly learn new systems/services or use cases to be able to build reusable components

  • Demo the Cloud Element platform features/functions, as well as implemented solutions, to customers

  • Assist the Product Engineering team to enhance the product for customer-driven features

  • Interact with development and product teams as needed to design solutions and solve problems

  • Be the technical voice on the Customer Success team

 

What we would like you to have:

  • Graduate from a developer bootcamp or BS in Computer Science or related field

  • Minimum 3-years experience as a software developer

  • MUST be proficient with Node.JS/JavaScript

  • Knowledge of RESTful design and APIs

  • Experience working with APIs and integrating with cloud services

  • Solid understanding of API authentication types: e.g. OAuth, Basic, Tokens

  • Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance

  • Personable, outgoing and community-oriented – enjoy interacting with others (especially Engineers!) in professional and social settings

  • Excellent communicator – written and spoken. Comfortable and willingness to work in a team environment

  • Professional attitude and communication.  This is a customer-facing role.

  • Great sense of humor, humble and driven!

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with AWS - Lambdas, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.

  • Experience with Java and Spring application framework

  • Experience with React JavaScript user interface library
