DevOps & QA Senior Engineer

Cardinal Peak is seeking a talented, energetic DevOps/ Sr. QA Engineer with 5 years of testing experience to work on a long term contract basis.

Our headquarters are located in Lafayette, CO.

Requirements:

• 5+ years technical experience in telecommunications, applications support, or system infrastructures.

• 2+ years of management/lead experience in leading and managing a group of technical employees involved in diverse work.

• 2+ years of native application mobile testing experience.

• 2+ years of experience with iOS, Android or Windows apps.

• 2+ years of experience with tooling systems such as jasmine, protractor, and others.

• Experience with Karma and Mocha

• Experience with Javascript

• 2+ years of NodeJS experience

• Experience with Chrome browser and Chrome Headless

• Complete understand of build and deployment systems such as Jenkins, VSTS and AWS.

• Proficient knowledge of TCP/IP, WAN/LAN principles, basic data base theory, Wifi, server cluster configuration, application support and architecture, network topologies, operating systems, hardware and software configurations and trends in technology.

• Practical experience implementing new toolsets, standardizing processes and governance and effective management of team adoption and change management by applying Lean principles, critical thinking and objective analysis.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team development, and negotiation skills; ability to interact with people of varying backgrounds, technical abilities, languages, and cultures; must be able to read and write effectively in English at a business-professional level.

• Ability to develop and analyze data from multiple sources. Conversant with basic statistical methodologies.

• Must be pro-active and creative in identifying business challenges and matching innovative solutions.

• Ability to manage time wisely across projects and competing priorities, meet agreed upon deadlines, and be accountable for work.

• Experience in working with a cross-functional team or large-scale software development life cycle, including waterfall and agile methodologies.

• You love learning and mentoring others.

• A technical degree in Engineering or Computer Science is preferred
