Reporting to the CTO, you will be a leader of the continuous improvement of our software systems, ensuring that our products meet the requirements of our current and future customers and their applications. You will work closely with the software development team to track and resolve issues, automating tests both in real life and in simulation.
What you’ll do:
-
Build and work alongside a team of talented QA engineers
- Develop and maintain quality assurance processes, tools and metrics
- Develop and help execute automated unit and integration test plans both in simulation and in real-life
- Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process - Find, isolate, document, and track bugs through resolution
- Work closely with software development engineers to support their development process
What you’ll need:
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience with software QA and test automation experience
- Ability to lead, coach and develop teams of quality engineers and software developers in test.
- Experience with test automation tools, testing reports, and issue tracking software
- Experience with C++ and Python development
- Ability to flex between management and boots-on-the-ground work as required
- Experience shipping complex software on purpose-built hardware
