LogRhythm is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to test software that makes the world safer from hackers, identity thieves, and scammers. LogRhythm is a recognized leader in network security, and we are looking for a QA Engineer who can help us continue to deliver the highest possible quality to our customers. 

 Opportunity

Responsibilities

• Build test environments of real and virtual systems, install configure and test software on Windows Server/Client and NIX systems, set up Microsoft SQL Server databases and Elasticsearch servers
• Be the owner of quality by developing end to end test suites for our distributed application software
• Improve and document processes to accelerate software release delivery
• Research and recommend tools, behaviors, and strategies for making testing better
• Utilize a scripting language like Python, bash, node, or perl to enhance testing is a plus 

Qualifications

• Experience with the following: Enterprise-class software, client-server architecture, Microsoft SQL, UNIX/Linux, Windows, and virtual systems.
• In-depth understanding of QA processes and standards. You talk about them with the style of a curious subject matter expert. You care about UX.
• Experienced in test case writing, with and without detailed specifications.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Track record working in a fast-paced environment. While we have grown beyond startup to a recognized leader in network security, things still move fast here. Really fast. You enjoy that type of environment and thrive on the pace.
• Ability to work in a cross functional environment, learning from others and collectively sharing accomplishments with others.
• Ability to complete projects on-time, to-budget with the highest technical expertise and professionalism, while maximizing customer satisfaction. You know when it’s the right time to focus on enhancing automated scripts vs. when to crunch on manual execution.
