We are actively seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join an Agile team to design and implement applications, systems, and tools to grow and support a Security Mobile product suite across the full development stack. We strive to utilize the best available tools, instruments, and practices to better protect our customers and are looking for the talent that will help us stay on the cutting edge of technology.

 

This position requires strong understanding of software development fundamentals, teamwork, passion for producing quality code and desire to learn and grow.

 

Specific Objectives and Responsibilities

 

Your First Six Months:

  • Welcome to the team and introduction to product and team development workflows and process
  • Work with the team to review, test, write, and contribute to a new Mobile Android & iOS Security product
  • Dive in and contribute to one of our multiple multiplatform SDKs that drive the development of our products
  • Engage with Product, UI / UX, and cross functional teams to understand users and goals
  • Build out CI/CD processes and infrastructure with the SDET team and dive deep into testing paradigms
  • Take ownership of the product and what you build – contribute to patterns and principals

 

Six to Twelve Months and Beyond:

  • Take a leadership role with your team and work on your weaknesses
  • Help provide vision and understanding of the mobile platforms to external teams
  • Engage with the team to define and mold best practices and review emerging technologies
  • Cross team development to learn new skills and experiences
  • Define your career path and execute on your goals

Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years of experience designing application and interactions using the following languages: Kotlin, Java, Swift, Objective-C.
  • Other languages: Go, C#, C++, Dart
  • Agile or some form of delivery process methodology
  • Ability to prioritize customer value over ideas
  • Ability to constantly ask questions to help distinguish facts from assumptions
  • REST / gRPC and understanding of micro-service architecture and patterns
