Assignar is a cloud based compliance, asset and workforce management platform. Developed from first hand experience and the need to solve the challenges within a fast growing construction service provider, Assignar rapidly gained interest from stakeholders in other industries facing similar challenges.

We have an international team with members spread across Australia and the US. We have recently decided to shift to being “remote-first”. The next few years will see a need to explore a range of new projects, architect a quickly growing product, design elegant UX solutions and expand into a worldwide market. 

Software Engineer - Mobile Platform 

We are looking for a Software engineer to help us improve the experience of our fieldworkers, primarily using our mobile app which is based on Capacitor and React. You have experience leading either hybrid mobile apps or Progressive Web Apps (PWA). Experience developing native applications is a bonus. While this position is an individual contributor role, experience leader technical initiatives will be highly regarded.

You:

• As a technical expert in mobile-first experiences, you will identify problems with our mobile architecture and come up with solutions balanced between long term vision and short term value-added for users.
• Our mobile app is used by tens of thousands fieldworkers operating in sometimes harsh conditions. You will cooperate with other engineers, product managers, designers to deliver a delightful and reliable mobile experience in any conditions. 
• Have a strong bias for action and own some initiatives from ideation to delivery. You will commit to build a great product and take ownership for delivering high-quality code using best practices.
• While being primarily focused on our mobile platform, you will be exposed to our full stack which includes TypeScript React, GraphQL, AWS, Python and Django - all continuously deployed to fully automated AWS infrastructure.
