We're looking for an engineer to help us build out machine learning tools to enable our users to easily build complex predictive models. We need someone who can take features from start to finish. This might mean building a new UI interaction with JavaScript, solving new architectural problems, or writing some Scikit-learn code in Python. In other words, you're an engineer who can quickly turn ideas into living, breathing, production-ready features. You will be contributing to our Smart/Predictive tools inside the Alteryx platform, adding functionality to help the productivity and capabilities of business analysts and data scientists.

Requirements
* 2+ years experience building web applications.
* Development experience with Python or Javascript on the backend in a production environment using modern tools.
* Familiarity with React or other frontend frameworks.
* Experience writing automated unit tests for front-end and back-end system components.
* Full understanding of the client-server architecture, from the browser all the way to the database.
* Strong understanding of software design principles.
* Passion for learning new tools, languages, and frameworks.

Nice to have
* Interest in data science with experience with Pandas or Scikit-Learn.
* Familiarity with statistical and predictive modeling.
