The Role

Hyperia is seeking a Software Engineer that is excited about building a robust and scalable system that will serve a multitude of customers. The person hired for this position will have the autonomy to make decisions and will work in all aspects of development, building micro-services, data stores, and more.

As a Software Engineer at Hyperia, you'll be responsible for building scalable services that expose our speech recognition, call/meeting understanding, and other capabilities to the customer. You'll be helping to architect a real-time data ingestion/analysis/indexing/query services that can perform a multitude of tasks and solve various client problems. If you're passionate about building something robust, scalable, and impactful to the world, this is the role for you.

You Have

• Valid Work Authorization in the United States
• 2+ years of work experience as a full-time software engineer
• Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• The ability to operate autonomously and communicate technical concepts simply and concisely
• The motivation to drive high engineering standards on the team through code review, testing, and mentoring. We care what our code looks like, and you should too
• Proficiency in one modern programming language such as Python or Java
• Experience with scalable service, data storage, and queuing infrastructures
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure solutions such as AWS, GCP, and related APIs (S3, etc)
