The Job
We are looking for a software engineer that is passionate about building the Invitae platform for common approaches to managing documents, notifications, and chat operations. This platform supports common services that engineers from all over Invitae need to leverage.
Qualifications
- Desire to build and maintain distributed systems.
- Strong interest in system design.
- Runs towards problems to solve.
- Comfortable working autonomously.
- Has programming experience.
- College graduate, code school graduate or transitioning from a related role.
Responsibilities
- Embrace a growth-mindset by continually learning and appropriately applying new techniques, approaches or technology.
- Work within a development team to deliver features that achieve positive outcomes for our customers.
- Write code that is well-tested, well-documented and free from defects.
- Navigate and understand unfamiliar systems and code.
- Participate in the core processes of the team (planning, on-call, bug-triage).
