TITLE: Software Engineer III
LOCATION: Greenwood Village, Colorado
JOB SUMMARY: The role requires building complex video and data analytics solutions using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML). These solutions include different phases and techniques such as Data Cleaning, Data Filtering, Data Manipulation, creating different ML models, training, and optimization of results. More specifically, the role requires providing technical solutions through converting high-level requirements into exceptionally detailed requirements. Design and develop new software applications, including user interfaces and their backend components, along with customizing existing applications. Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements. Conduct analysis to determine integration needs. Diagnose performance issues and propose and implement code improvements. Assist in the constant integration and deployment of software releases. Prove scalability with load-generating tools. Ensure software architecture is lean, extensible, and well-documented. Ensure software modules are reliable and reusable. Integrate with metrics and auditing systems to inform on health and usage. Work with the Quality Assurance and Operations teams to ensure applications meet technical requirements. Review code for other team member and share constructive feedback. Troubleshoot complex problems in order to maintain high quality of software product. Write code for AI/ML using Python. Perform data analysis and cleaning as well as using several AWS tools for IOT solutions and video analytics.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field; 4 years of experience writing code for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) using Python; performing data analytics, including data cleaning and AI/ML Model Design; and using AWS Cloud tools, including: Glue, Athena, and SageMaker. 2 years of experience developing IoT Solutions using Agile development; and performing video analytics to build complex solutions. Work from home available 2 days per week.
Salaries depend on geography, experience, and education; negotiations begin at $139,984 per year.
This position requires up to 25% domestic travel.
