Overview:

We are looking for a Software Engineer to help us build the next version of our core data processing Engine to scale in the cloud. This is a project where you’ll be a core contributor from the ground up. We’re looking for engineers that are motivated self-starters that can work a feature from start to finish. You’re a strong team player with a proven track record of delivering alongside other engineers. You’re highly motivated to learn new tools and technologies.

The tech stack for this project is Go, gRPC, C, C++, Docker and Kubernetes.

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in an engineering position.

  • Knowledge of and experience with object oriented and functional design patterns.

  • Strong skills in critical thinking, decision making, problem solving, and attention to detail.

  • Experience using source control systems with a preference for Git.

  • Experience designing decoupled and highly testable applications.

Valued Skills:

  • Go application development in a professional environment.

  • Experience with compiled languages.

  • Experience design gRPC or RESTful APIs.

  • Docker, Kubernetes and deploying microservices at scale.

  • Experience working on high-performance distributed systems.

  • An understanding of concurrency models.

  • Experience with message bus’.

  • Knowledge of systems design and development preferably leveraging open source and open standards.

  • Understanding and commitment to modern software engineering principles/processes (Agile, Lean, DevOps) and continuous improvement through measurement.

Compensation:

Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Broomfield, CO is $88,400 - $150,300 USD annually. Compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. 

This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus and stock grants.
