We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join the RingCentral Engineering team in our Boulder, CO office. In this position, you will work with management, architects and engineers to help execute on the product roadmap and work with existing team members to build, maintain, and troubleshoot the product. You'll be responsible for building new and maintaining existing solutions in a microservice-oriented, distributed, high performance enterprise SaaS platform.
You'll work side-by-side with on-shore and off-shore teams, actively engage in peer code reviews with engineers across multiple disciplines, and help to elevate the quality and spirit of the team and product. You will have the opportunity to explore cutting edge technologies, work on enterprise-class software, experience large-scale problems at work, and collaborate with engineers throughout the world to continue to enhance our contact-center offering.

- Help develop new systems to meet the growing needs of the product and customer
- Enhance or overhaul existing systems to ensure continued success over time
- Develop engineering documentation for planning and reference
- Participate in peer code-reviews
- Share knowledge with other team members
- Help uphold code quality and testing standards
- Work with onshore and offshore teams in collaborative capacities
- Ability to learn complex, distributed systems quickly and thoroughly
- Ability to document complex systems and technical requirements
- 3+ years software engineering experience
- Java programming experience
- Experience with event driven, microservice architecture
- Experience with MySQL / Amazon Aurora / Hibernate / JDBC preferred
- Experience in a SaaS business model preferred
