Job Overview:
We are looking for a full-stack Software Engineer, whose responsibilities will include working closely with other engineers to architect, design, build, and maintain new systems and existing applications. You will also review peers' code and system architecture, provide constructive feedback, and code for improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Write front-end and back-end JavaScript, primarily in React and NodeJS, using TypeScript.
- Develop new user-facing features based on agile user stories and provided mocks
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
- Maintain existing user-facing applications
- Ensure code standards are followed and code is tested using automated test frameworks

Compensation:
Annual salary $65,000 - $110,000
Location Requirements:
Ability to report to Denver, CO office on occasion preferred. Work from home available.

Skills And Qualifications
- 3+ years experience developing web applications
- Experience building web applications, with evidence of a deep understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS3, and API design
- Has worked in an agile/scrum process before
- Good communicator; has experience with pair programming and test-driven development
- Deep experience in the following front end and back end web technologies: Node.js, React, Vue, or Angular
- Experience with building highly available, scalable systems
- Has worked with relational databases like PostgreSQL
- Understands modern software development practices and methodologies
- Understands software design patterns and their usage in good code design
- Experience with Linux, microservices, Docker deployments
Bonus Qualifications
- Has worked with TypeScript
- Has worked in another programing language not mentioned above, such as: Python, Go, Scala, or Ruby
- Has previous experience working in a small organization or startup
- Has worked with databases and ORM libraries
- Experience with handling large data sets
- Experience in Advertising
- Has developed within AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or other Cloud-Based Environments
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or commensurate industry experience.
