Software engineers apply the principles of software engineering to the design and development of software systems, features and tools which enable Fanatics businesses, platforms, and operations. This role will join our Connected Inventory team.
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
- An in-depth understanding of software engineering using C# and Go.
- Advanced mathematical analysis skills.
- Ability to create simple to complex algorithms.
- Ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships with peers, managers and both internal and external customers.
- Experience with development on high-performing APIs, and e-commerce enterprise integrations.
- Experience with bus technologies – e.g. queues and streams.
- Experience with Git or a similar distributed version control system.
- Enjoys working in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Agile development processes.
Experience and/or familiarity with the following are a plus:
- AWS/Azure/GCP, Kafka, RabbitMQ, .NET 5.0, Docker, Terraform
