DAT is looking for a Senior Software Development Test Engineer, with a strong emphasis on the development aspect, to join our team in Denver, CO
We're looking for a Software Development Test Engineer to lead the automation testing effort for our most mission-critical back-end systems. This role will be responsible for defining our automated test strategy, picking the necessary technologies, and implementing them. This role will work closely with software engineers and be responsible for developing an attitude of quality on the team.
The Skills You'll Need

• 5+ years of experience developing automated tests for enterprise software.
• Strong familiarity with software development principles and an understanding of enterprise SDLCs.
• Experience automating the testing of rest APIs.
• Experience automating tests to ensure data quality and a strong working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• A strong understanding of modern CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices around automated testing.
• Proficiency with at least one cloud computing platform (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.).

Bonus Skills

• A strong understanding of at least one programming language (Java, C++, C#, python, etc.).
• Experience with Docker containers and deploying them to Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of Kafka and other stream processing tools.
• A familiarity with Lambdas or other serverless AWS components.

(Colorado only) In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the minimum salary for this role is $125,000.00 + benefits. The maximum compensation for this role can vary significantly depending on your job-related skills and experience.
