Why this role?

As Software Development Manager - Mobile you'll manage teams that build mobile applications for both iOS and Android mobile applications for Dice.com. This will play a crucial role in Dice’s global mobile product strategy by leading the team to build and support cutting-edge iOS and Android mobile applications.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading the mobile strategy with respect to mobile applications in coordination with other application teams
  • Researching the latest trends, strategies and emerging technologies for mobile applications and provide technical vision
  • Working with a team of software engineers to create the high-level mobile software designs and technical specs
  • Working with project teams to plan integration and implementation strategies
  • Leading, coaching, and mentoring other team members. Performs cross-training and facilitates information sharing among team members. Assist with management of team tasks, projects, and performance reviews.

For this role, we're requiring:

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work within an Agile project team to successfully implement mobile application systems
  • The ability to work in a team atmosphere

Education, Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of Software Development or related work experience
  • 2+ years of mobile platform experience
  • 1+ years of leading a team of Engineers, preferably in the mobile platform space

Compensation

Base salary/pay of $100,000 – $195,000 per year, plus 10% annual bonus at 100% of plan targets tied to company and individual performance. Offer will depend on location and level of job-related knowledge, skills, abilities and experience.
