We seek a talented and creative Software Development Engineer in Test to join our award-winning team! If you love the idea of working with a super-talented group passionate about building products that make meetings better for everyone, please keep reading:  Mersive Solstice helps teams collaborate much more effectively by allowing anyone to bring their own devices and apps to meetings and share content concurrently.  The product development organization is going to grow substantially over the coming months; we have some exciting internal initiatives underway in which we need additional technical quality & support expertise to join the team.

A successful candidate has experience partnering with engineering and QA to build out highly reliable and modularized automation systems that extend manual testing efforts across a myriad of environmental (network, hardware) and product configurations.  We work with Python, Jenkins, and Android developer tools to develop load, stress, functional, and longevity tests within our lab.  We need someone who understands the complexities of software automation and is passionate about leveraging technology to improve quality, including doing any R&D on new technologies that will serve our needs and “future-proof” our efforts.  Ideal candidates will also have experience working with customer support on troubleshooting issues, able to balance the art and science of support investigation.

Your day-to-day will look like this:

• Work with our QA, engineering, and product team to evolve our automation testing coverage and capabilities
• Perform the necessary R&D to ensure Mersive builds a world-class automation / testing lab
• Collaborate with our agile teams to ensure all appropriate automation hooks are built into our product code
• Assist our customer support team to investigate any technical issues that arise in the field, and ensure the proper agile teams are notified

Here’s what experience we’re looking for:

• 2-5 years in a Software Developer in Test or similar role, with specific experience programming in Python, C++
• Expertise building automation systems and test scripting
• Experience with video and multimedia streaming, network hardware and software
• Experience in QT/QML, Mobile Development (Android or iOS), native C/C++, networking/transport protocols is a bonus
